URBAN TREE PLANTING UPDATE
Between February and March 2025, Forest for Cornwall is continuing planned urban tree planting, adding eight street trees to Trevithick Avenue in order to further tackle the ecological emergency and the impacts of climate change. Tree species are selected using the 'right tree right place' principle and to increase resilience against the increasing threats of new pests and diseases.

In addition to this, another ‘Back Garden Forest’ tree giveaway event is being organised in Torpoint for late January or February 2025 where there will be around 400 trees to give away including a variety of species, all suitable for gardens, more details of this event will follow.
